The former restaurant of the Hôtel d'Orsay, on the first floor of the museum, is still as magnificent as it was when it opened in 1900. The sobriety of the new construction by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte sets off the dazzling chandeliers and the painted and gilded ceilings of this dining room, listed as a Historic Monument. The chef Yann Landureau offers traditional French cuisine, interspersed with original dishes that are linked to the museum' current events.

Opening times

Tuesday – Sunday, 11.45am to 5.45pm (groups to arrive at 11.45am), Thursdays from 9.30am to 2.45pm and from 7pm to 9pm

The restaurant offers:

breakfasts and mixed platters (mornings only)
lunch à la carte, or set meal with main course and dessert for €16.50
children’s menu at €6.70
group menu from €22
afternoon tea served from 2.45pm to 5.45pm

Thursday evenings

Combine a visit to the museum with dinner at the restaurant on Thursday evenings.

Discovery menu at €55 (drinks included): personal service includes cloakrooms and entrance to the museum’s collections..

Private events

In the evening, as part of our programme of exclusive visits to the museum, the restaurant is available for private functions (except for Thursday evenings)

220 seated,
600 standing.

Boutique du Parvis

Located on the museum forecourt, the Boutique du Parvis offers take-away food including sandwiches, drinks and snacks (crêpes and waffles).

Reduction

10% reduction in all catering outlets, on presentation of a valid card:

for Musée d'Orsay Carte Blanche and Muse'O cardholders, on the entire bill for up to 4 people;

for young people from 18 to 25 years and members of the Société des Amis du Musée d'Orsay on their personal consumption.
