Complete collection of piano chamber music

For this 20th season of concerts at the Musée d'Orsay, special tribute is being paid to two great figures of the chamber music repertoire. This special programme makes it possible to hear the complete collection of piano chamber music and piano solo works.
Brahms made a huge contribution in establishing chamber music as a genre of its own, and he is often attributed with starting this intimate form of musical exchange. Fauré took inspiration from Brahms compositions.
The juxtaposition of their works allows us to hear the secret dialogue which exists between these two masters of chamber music.
