Kihnu Island and the Kingdom of Setomaa (Estonia)

French photographer Jérémie Jung is exhibiting two photographic series on Kihnu, an island in the Gulf of Riga, and the Setomaa region on the Russian border, two of Estonia’s isolated communities that have maintained a strong relationship with their traditions that are unique in Europe.

Talk with the photographer

Photographer Jérémie Jung, accompanied by Antoine Chalvin, translator and specialist in Estonian culture, will be talking about his career and his passion for Estonia where he has produced a number of documentaries that focus on the question of the permanence of traditional cultures in the post-Soviet era.
