L'Amour masqué with libretto by Sacha Guitry, together with Véronique (1898), features among André Messager's masterpieces. The endless theme of a woman's loves and lovers is exploited here with the famous verve and spirit of Sacha Guitry who produced the opera on 15 February 1923 at the Edward VII Theatre. This new production has been created with the support of the lyric department of the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris.
