Musée d'Orsay: The contemporary furniture

The contemporary furniture

Contemporary design can be found in the galleries of the Musée d'Orsay. On the top floor of the Pavilion Amont, opposite the great clock, we find the organic world of the Campana brothers, with a huge, sprawling sofa called Aster Papposus. Nearby, the 5th floor bookshop is lit by the Zeppelin chandeliers of the Belgian artist Marcel Wanders, who also designed the chairs for the security staff.
In the future, other elements of contemporary design will be included as we continue to make the Musée d’Orsay even more beautiful.
