My wife and I were in Paris this past week. The Musee d'Orsay was the museum we wanted to visit. We were very disappointed that the museum was not open on the days we could visit (Thursday , Friday and Saturday) because of a strike by the employees.

Visited twice 21 and 22 October. The museum was closed because of a strike by staff but this web site said it was open. Two wasted trips to a closed museum on a short visit to paris is unfair. Why didn't you update the website?

Friday 21 October, it was announced on our website that the Museum was closed. Because of technical issues we couldn't update our pages during the week-end of 22-23 October. The information about the closing of the Museum was only given on Facebook and Twitter. We are really sorry and we apologize for this.

I visited Paris for the first time in late August. I loved the d'Orsay. It was my favorite and while the time period was not my favorite, I found the museum wonderful not only for the works but for the layout.
