Work placements

It is possible to undertake work experience at the Musée d'Orsay, provided that there is a placement agreement between your training institution (school, university, etc.) and the museum.
Work placements are for a minimum of one month. Apart from in exceptional circumstances, they can not exceed two months, and they are unpaid.
However, these opportunities to work at the Musée d'Orsay are limited.

Work placements are unpaid and are for a minimum of one month and a maximum of two months.
Overseas students must supply a Certificate of Insurance covering accidents while working at the museum and while travelling between their place of residence and the museum.

In view of the large number of applications for these places, only postgraduate History of Art students, with a 19th century specialisation, are currently being considered.
