Projects to support

Exhibition
Supporting an exhibition gives your business high exposure and the opportunity to hold private events around a major cultural display. The Musée d'Orsay exhibitions are renowned for their great popularity and scientific expertise.

Acquisition

To contribute towards the enrichment of the national collections, your company can acquire a piece of work for the Musée d'Orsay. For an exceptional piece of work, designated a National Treasure, the tax relief* rises to 90% of the total contribution of the sponsoring company. A formal ceremony is organised with the sponsor, attended by the Minister of Culture.

Restoration

By enabling an artwork to be restored, you will be helping to preserve great works from our cultural heritage for future generations. Restoration projects often bring neglected works from the reserve collection back into public view, where their beauty and significance can once again be appreciated.

Education
Supporting the museum in its social and teaching aims is to become involved in one of its most important missions. In this way you enable the Musée d'Orsay to develop its services for a disadvantaged audience and in particular for the disabled. Other initiatives are aimed at children and young people to introduce them at an early age to the enjoyment of art, and to an understanding of the history of art.

Capital campaigns
The Musée d'Orsay is a living museum, constantly updating its galleries so that visitors may view the works in the best possible environment; one which is welcoming, pleasant and practical. Future building projects will enable the collections to be displayed in a modern museographical context. A plaque with the name of your company will permanently mark the space which you have helped to build.
