Last minute

From 1 June to 17 September 2018, due to planned works in the group reception area, no cloakroom will be available for groups. Please accept our apologies.

Cloakrooms

For individual visitors, cloakrooms are free of charge, to store coats, large umbrellas, luggage, but not valuables such as cameras, money, identity documents, fur coats, etc.

Loan of wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are available from the cloakrooms on deposit of a passport or identity document. Folding chairs are available for those who have difficulty standing.

Loan of pushchairs

Large prams and baby carriers are not allowed in the museum, but pushchairs are available from the cloakrooms on deposit of an identity document.

Lifts

People with reduced mobility or with pushchairs can access the whole of the museum area, temporary exhibitions and commercial areas, using lifts and access ramps.

Toilets

The museum has many toilets, some of which are equipped for disabled visitors (closed at 5.30pm).

Baby changing facilities

There are baby changing facilities on level -1, next to the adult groups reception area.
