Cloakrooms are free of charge for individual visitors and groups, to store coats, large umbrellas, rucksacks, small bags, etc, but not large items nor valuables such as cameras, money, identity documents, fur coats, etc.

Wheelchairs are available from the cloakrooms on deposit of a passport or identity document. Folding chairs are available for those who have difficulty standing.

Large prams and baby carriers are not allowed in the museum, but pushchairs are available from the cloakrooms on deposit of an identity document.

The museum has many toilets, some of which are equipped for disabled visitors (closed at 5.30pm).

There are baby changing facilities on level -1, next to the adult groups reception area.
There is a post box next to the bookshop.
