The Musée d’Orsay is renovating the Impressionist Gallery.

  1. From 28 September to 11 November 2018, we will be exhibiting a selection of masterpieces from our Impressionist collection - Cézanne, Degas, Manet, Monet and Renoir - on level 0, and on level 5. The works by Gauguin and Van Gogh are on display on level 2, galleries 70 to 72.
  2. From 13 to 23 November 2018, the Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist collections will not be on display. The works by Gauguin and Van Gogh are on display on level 2, galleries 70 to 72. Works by Renoir can also be seen in the exhibition “Renoir Father and Son” on level 2, galleries 67 to 69.

In the week following the date on your Musée d'Orsay entrance ticket you can enjoy reduced rates:

  • when you buy a ticket for the Gustave Moreau National Museum
  • when you purchase a ticket for an unguided visit of the Palais Garnier (Opéra National de Paris)
  • when you buy a ticket for the Jean-Jacques Henner National Museum

Please note:

Following the terror attacks in Paris on Friday, 13 November 2015 and to ensure the safety of our visitors, the museum is strictly applying the security measures decided by the French authorities.

The museum is fully opened.

Only suitcases, travel bags and backpacks smaller than 60 x 40 cm are allowed.
They may be left in the cloakroom subject to space.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and delay which may be caused by the extra security checks at the entrance.
