A regular visitor to the Musée d'Orsay collections since childhood, French-Israeli artist Nathanaëlle Herbelin is invited to put her paintings and sources of inspiration into perspective. A descendant of the Nabis, the artist brings their favorite subjects - everyday life, domestic interiors and intimacy - back into fashion, in compositions that are nonetheless resolutely contemporary. In this video, Nathanaëlle Herbelin talks to exhibition curator Nicolas Gausserand about the choices she made when hanging the works, her creative approach and her artistic influences.

“I hope that if it touched me, it will touch others. I have nothing truer to offer.”
