Video · Restauration of pastels

A group of graphic arts restorers (Nadège Dauga, who led the project, Sophie Chavanne and Ève Menei), restored nearly a hundred pastels. At the same time, Élise Lopez undertook the same work on the frames. The fruit of this several-month undertaking will enable the works treated in this way to be presented in their best light in the exhibition “Pastels, From Millet to Redon”, from March 14 to July 2, 2023 at the Musée d'Orsay.
