Charles Lameire painted a large number of large religious and civil backgrounds of the end of the 19th century : the church of the Madeleine in Paris, Notre-Dame de Fourvières in Lyon, the Hotel de Ville and Trocadero in Paris, amongst others. He left more than 700 projects, colour drawings, life-size sketches and models, a certain number of which were shown in public thanks to this documentary exhibition.
