Exhibition at the museum
VU' at the Musée d'Orsay - Stanley Greene
From July 03rd to September 02nd, 2007
-
Christian Caujolle founded the photography agency VU' in 1986 after working for the Libérationnewspaper, and in 2006 it celebrates its twentieth anniversary. To mark this occasion, and linked to the Musée d'Orsay's own twentieth anniversary, it opened to the public on 6 December 1986. The VU' agency suggested giving a free hand to five of its greatest photographers: Gabriele Basilico, Rip Hopkins, Richard Dumas, Juan Manuel Castro Prieto, Stanley Greene. They have each photographed one particular aspect of the Museum – its architecture, staff, collections and its public. Their work will be shown in the Museum, in four exhibitions, from December 5, 2006 to July 29, 2007.
The exhibition is now over.
