Musée d'Orsay: The Hand

The Hand

"The number of possible hand movements is incalculable, and almost equals the number of words … they do everything but speak." (Henri Focillon). Several artists have been invited by the Musée to make their hands speak, through a show where speech is absent.

This show is accessible to hearing-impaired visitors.
