Erik Satie - Memoirs of an Amnesiac

What approach to take with Satie? Which Satie to talk about? The eccentric composer, the uncategorisable musician, the writer in his spare time? In this short light opera without lyrics, everything is signed by Satie, the music and the words. Everything might not be neatly in order, but this balancing act, which brings together some forty scores by the composer, two pianists and four actors, is entirely in his image, revealing a fragmented, playful, poetic and tender portrait of the multiple facets of a complex and terribly modern artist.
