Daphnis et Chloé by Ravel
An exhibition devoted to Manet and Degas would not be complete without calling forth the art of dance. This creation, conceived by the duo of dancers from the Paris Opera and the pianist Claire-Marie Le Guay, will honor Ravel as well as the two great painters.
Pianist Claire-Marie Le Guay and Paris Opera dancer Florent Melac, also a choreographer, join forces to bare Daphnis et Chloé by Maurice Ravel, here brought back to its musical and dramatic essence, with a keyboard and a dance duo.
