Discovery Evening • G for Gaudí
From 6pm to 11pm - nave of the museum
An evening of meetings, workshops and performances in the spirit of the extravagant architect Gaudí. In closing, Catching Flies builds a musical bridge between architecture and electro: like a building, a set is built methodically, floor after floor, on the solid foundations of the bass line.
On the occasion of the exhibition “Gaudí” the Musée d'Orsay gives itself over by the madness of grandeur and invites you to discover the “terrifying and edible beauty” of the work of this architect of the impossible, a giant of Art Nouveau. From the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona to the paintings of Salvador Dalí, go on an unclassifiable journey through a program of encounters, tours, workshops and performances throughout the museum. The highlight of the evening will be the presence of a monument of the international electro scene, Catching Flies, for three exceptional live performances in the great nave of the museum, created in collaboration with Cercle.
The event is free of charge upon presentation of an access ticket to the museum (ticket or proof of free admission)
