Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night inspired Dutilleux. Debussy and Ravel round off this program devoted to the night and performed by the Dutilleux Quartet, in dialogue with the “Van Gogh in Auvers-sur-Oise” exhibition.

Four musicians, a quartet, draw on the world of Henri Dutilleux, who naturally invites himself along too. The quartet, which took the master’s name in all humility, has organized this nocturnal walkabout inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s most famous canvas. The program consists of pieces by the composer who brought these musicians together, along with two compositions by Ravel and Debussy. Thus the Night...
