Nathanaël Gouin is one of the most original pianists on today’s music scene. For this concert, held alongside the “Paris 1874, the Impressionist Moment” exhibition, he’ll be playing two fine pieces from the repertoire of the day. The featured composers are Ravel and Mussorgsky, with his very appropriate Pictures at an Exhibition, composed the same year as the first impressionist exhibition.

A much sought-after soloist, Nathanaël Gouin has played in some of the world’s greatest concert halls. He’ll be making an appearance at Musée d'Orsay’s auditorium for a Concert at 12:30 echoing the major spring 2024 exhibition devoted to the birth of the impressionist movement. In addition to Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Nathanaël Gouin will be playing Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit (Treasurer of the Night), a piece dominated by neoclassicism and impressionism.
