Giant games, creative workshops, readings, podcasts... This summer, the salle des fêtes at the Musée d'Orsay is transformed into a space for relaxation and discovery, free and open to all, without reservation, from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.

The Musée d'Orsay invites you to enjoy a cultural and playful interlude in the sumptuous setting of its Salle des Fêtes. With Holidays at Orsay, the museum becomes a space for leisure, creation and play, where young and old are welcome to enjoy a joyful program accessible to all.

A summer program for the whole family

Throughout the summer vacations, come and explore a world of activities designed to awaken curiosity, develop creativity and share a convivial moment at the museum:

Creative workshops inspired by works in the collection

Children and their families will have the opportunity to experiment with modeling, reinvent characters from a painting, build models, or give free rein to their imagination by taking part in a collective fresco, creating a souvenir of their visit to the museum.

Reading and quiet time to relax and dream

A reading corner will be set up to offer families a moment of calm, with books linked to the museum's works, allowing everyone to escape before setting off again to discover the collections.

Fun learning

What better way to discover the museum's collections than with a giant game of goose, or a revisited 7-family game featuring characters from the museum's paintings? Puzzles, memory, construction and imitation games are also available.

Podcasts Imaginary Walks (7 y/o and above - available in French)

Come and discover four episodes of Imaginary Walks, a podcast specially designed for children aged 7 and above. The author Béatrice Fontanel has drawn inspiration from the Museum’s paintings to make up stories that take you back in time...

Photobooth and postcards

The museum invites families to capture a unique souvenir thanks to a photobooth (photo booth) immersing them in the world of a painting, and a postcard service to send a souvenir to loved ones.
