Epouse en 1861 la fille de Jean-François Ladevèze, imprimeur à Tours. Vers 1875-76, l'imprimerie Ladevèze devient l'imprimerie Rouillé-Ladevèze, au 6, rue Chaude à Tours. Auteur de "Sépia-photo et sanguine-photo" publié en 1894. La même année, il modifie le procédé de Poitevin (1858) avec la gomme brichromatée, qu'il présente à l'exposition du Photo-Club de Paris.
