Maison d'ameublement et de décoration américaine. Maison fondée par Gustave Herter (1830-1898) et son demi-frère Christian (1839 ou 1840-1883) en 1864 ou 1865. Elle fut également dirigée par William Baumgarten, puis William Gilman Nichols.
