Photographe à Paris, appelé également par erreur : Edouard (ou Edward) Durandelle. Adresses : 30-32, Chaussée de Clignancourt (vers 1862) ; 22, bd des Filles du Calvaire (vers 1865-1868) ; 4 bd du Faubourg Monmartre (vers 1868 jusqu'en 1890). Il s'associe à H.C. Delmaet de 1854 jusqu'au décès de ce dernier en 1862. L'association se poursuit avec la femme de Delmaet, Clémence Jacob, qui se remariera avec Durandelle. Louis-Emile Durandelle abandonne la photographie en 1890.
