Peintre. Né à La Roche-sur-Yon et mort à Paris. Elève de Drolling (1844), il obtint le Prix de Rome en 1850 et séjourna en Italie. Décorateur,il travailla pour l'Opéra de Paris et débuta au Salon en 1852. Actif à Paris.
