Peintre. Né et mort à Paris. Fils du miniaturiste Barrias, élève de Léon Cogniet, il obtint le Prix de Rome en 1844 et exposa au Salon entre 1840 et 1904. Actif à Paris. Membre de la Société des Peintres orientalistes.
