Open in 1893, a short while after the Moulin Rouge (1889) and the Casino de Paris (1890), the Olympia, from one show to the next, was always a place were dreams came alive. Its glorious past and the Belle Epoque music hall will be evoked in this exhibition, from miss Sandowa, the dancer in the lions' cage, to Diavolo, the acrobat who circled on a motorbike, all this dream world being presented through posters, photographs, programmes and original models for stage settings. The recent refurbishment of the Olympia was also evoked in particular with the exceptional loan of the model of the Edward VII block.

The exhibition is now over.
